I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. I was raised in a Jamaican family so my first love is reggae music. As a teenager I always knew I wanted to work in radio, but instead I joined the military. I was stationed in VA and while in the military I interned at a college radio station. I then got an internship at a commercial radio station and moved up to an on-air personality. It was a wrap after that. I didn't actually know I could DJ until I was "chillin" with all the mixers at the station and started to mess with the turntables. I never actually touched turntables prior to that, so I was curious. One of the DJ's asked me to blend two instrumentals and I did it to everyones amazement. That same night, I went to the club with another DJ and rocked a party for the first time. "That energy was amazing," and I haven't stopped since. I'm lucky I am blessed with a nature talent and its something I love to do....
