The weekend's other new release, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, was fifth with $10.5 million.

What it is with Nicki Minaj? Nicki Minaj faced a little scare this weekend while undergoing eye surgery. She tweeted, "The Lasik was a success. I was rushed back in 4 emergency surgery but now I'm good. A lil bruise but God is good." Aside from working on her Pink Friday debut album, Nicki is set to appear at next month's MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Snooki’s attempt to trademark her nickname for books has been rejected because officials thought Snooki the party girl would be confused with "Snooky" the cat, an already trademarked character from a children's book. Another Jersey Shore cast member has been arrested. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was taken down to the Seaside Heights police station yesterday for unpaid parking tickets. He paid up and was released.

Kanye tweeted, "Listening to @Justin Bieber 'Run Away Love,' " mentioning that he had the song on replay. He also shared, that he has a song on his album with a similar song title. Justin then tweeted, "I'm kinda hyped you are listening to my stuff!" He also said he is a fan of Kanye’s too.

What it is with Trey Songz? This morning Trey Songz stopped by and we asked him about what he thought about Chris Brown’s performance at the BET Awards. He said he thought Chris did an incredible job and that he should have performed at last year’s BET Awards as a tribute to Michael Jackson. When asked if he was single he said YUUUP!
